An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Hardt in the 15th minute of play forced Lenzmühle FSV's goalkeeper Kasimir Raufelder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CNS-POL-SE's zone, Henning Antwerpes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thilo Baum came out of the goal and Henning Antwerpes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henning Antwerpes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thilo Baum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Henning Antwerpes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Thilo Baum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henning Antwerpes struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Thilo Baum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lenzmühle FSV. If Jörn Igelbüscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Igelbüscher in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasimir Raufelder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heinrich Kunze's late challenge caught a Lenzmühle FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heinrich Kunze helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, CNS-POL-SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heinrich Kunze to maneuver through the defense. If Heiko Hardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
