Jorck Fickert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Funkel having to interfere. Thilo Baum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Trautmann in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, CNS-POL-SE's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Trautmann came free, but Thilo Baum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thilo Baum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Trautmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thilo Baum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kosmas von Stahl in the 39th minute of play. Heinrich Kunze hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Mario Trautmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
