Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jonah Mannhardt made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Vardingholt FSV's Ewald Plischke got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Benedikt Huwe came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Vardingholt FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedikt Huwe couldn't finish the play. Rupert Renger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauritz Marohn struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Kai-Uwe Haibach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonia Agrippina. Kai-Uwe Haibach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Renger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Vardingholt FSV got a freekick which was hit by Merten Reinders. Rupert Renger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kai-Uwe Haibach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kai-Uwe Haibach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rupert Renger's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Vardingholt FSV's Dragoslav Kölle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hendrik Stark came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Vardingholt FSV's Jonah Mannhardt. But to his dismay, Jonah Mannhardt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 35th minute Jonah Mannhardt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Stark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rupert Renger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colonia Agrippina's Lauritz Marohn got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Mannhardt in the 48th minute of play forced Colonia Agrippina's goalkeeper Hendrik Stark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rupert Renger to strike the kick off in the second half. Kai-Uwe Haibach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Renger in the 51st minute of the match. Kai-Uwe Haibach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rupert Renger went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lauritz Marohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Mannhardt in the 78th minute of play forced Colonia Agrippina's goalkeeper Hendrik Stark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauritz Marohn in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kai-Uwe Haibach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ewald Plischke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hendrik Stark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrik Stark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonah Mannhardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Vardingholt FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Renger came free, but Kai-Uwe Haibach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vardingholt FSV defense, Lauritz Marohn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kai-Uwe Haibach. The Vardingholt FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kai-Uwe Haibach should have stopped the shot.
