The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorck Kessler to strike the kick off in the second half. When Zenobio Fröhlich fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liethen's protests and gave Zenobio Fröhlich a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Liethen getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Zenobio Fröhlich hit a great ball. The supporters of Krapphof FC booed when Liethen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Weisbrod didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorck Kessler went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horst Blaschko got free with Carlo Faller in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bjarne Mücke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Carlo Faller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Thilo Gunter Wolf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horst Blaschkos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Carlo Faller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carlo Faller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjarne Mücke, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Krapphof FC's Carlo Faller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarne Mücke in the 93rd minute of play. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Krapphof FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Liethen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
