Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Povel started the match with the kick off. Loy Howahl charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loy Howahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FSV Göritz's Loy Howahl got a free kick in the 4th minute. Abbo Scharpe kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Manuel Witt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damir Hufenstuhl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute, Düsseldorfer Sport Verein's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Menno Maier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 15 played minutes FSV Göritz got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Oliver Brei. 20 minutes into the game, Lars Povel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Stephan Droese was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stephan Droese was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars Povel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Damir Hufenstuhl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Schlottmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damir Hufenstuhl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Hönisch, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, FSV Göritz's Patrick Oliver Brei got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stephan Hönisch was the one to do the kick off. Damir Hufenstuhl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Hönisch, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of FSV Göritz booed when Düsseldorfer Sport Verein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörg Schlottmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menno Maier in the 57th minute of play forced Düsseldorfer Sport Verein's goalkeeper Stephan Droese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludger Sobbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damir Hufenstuhl having to interfere. Damir Hufenstuhl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Hönisch in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Düsseldorfer Sport Verein booed when FSV Göritz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Povel didn't get a good kick on the ball. FSV Göritz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Stephan Hönisch scored to the left of an out of position Damir Hufenstuhl, making the score, 2-2. 76 minutes into the match, FSV Göritz's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Hönisch came free, but Damir Hufenstuhl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menno Maier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Ronnie Pfaff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FSV Göritz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Düsseldorfer Sport Verein the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Ronnie Pfaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damir Hufenstuhl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Hönisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FSV Göritz succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Düsseldorfer Sport Verein had controlled the match.
