A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jacek Kader hit a great ball. Jochem Borchert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Busse having to interfere. Max Busse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochem Borchert in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Per Stiig Heinrichs hit a great ball. Dambeck's Kornelius Miersch couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Borussia Dortmund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorn Boy in the 41st minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Lars Oppermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Jacek Kader got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorn Boy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Max Balog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Oppermann came out of the goal and Max Balog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Botho Preuße hit a great ball. Marcel Schieske received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Max Busse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Busse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Schieske in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Max Balog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Oppermann came out of the goal and Max Balog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Oppermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorn Boy in the 76th minute of play. Max Balog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Oppermann having to interfere. If Jochem Borchert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Busse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Schieske, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Busse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Schieske in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dambeck walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
