Ansgar Huhn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holzheim. Ari Sahin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ansgar Huhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Langguth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansgar Huhn having to interfere. Ari Sahin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Langguth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansgar Huhn having to interfere. Ansgar Huhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Langguth in the 17th minute of the match. Esteban Boehme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Holzheim's Henning Jungwirth got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holzheim's goalkeeper Frank Greitemeier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Holzheim getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bernhard Naumann hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Langguth in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ansgar Huhn saved Gemenwirthe from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ari Sahin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ansgar Huhn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Holzheim's Norbert Langguth got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ansgar Huhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Langguth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Klomfaß stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Holzheim defense, Tim Klomfaß kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Greitemeier. The Holzheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Greitemeier should have stopped the shot. Norbert Langguth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Ansgar Huhn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Gemenwirthe got a freekick which was hit by Veit Karl. Norbert Langguth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Holzheim's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 68th minute, Gemenwirthe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Norbert Langguth fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot 72 in the game by Ari Sahin from a close distance when the talented Ansgar Huhn managed to make a qualified save. Gemenwirthe's players were relieved. In the 74th minute, Norbert Langguth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norbert Langguth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansgar Huhn having to interfere. Frank Greitemeier went to the wrong direction when Vlado Keil was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 92nd minute, Esteban Boehme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tim Klomfaß blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Greitemeier having to make a save. Gemenwirthe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Holzheim for a fine match.
