Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Volkmar Radermacher got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 12 minutes into the match, Dettum FC's goalkeeper Dieter Huber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Holzhäuser. Thon FSV's Ansgar Allmeier came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Dieter Huber had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Dieter Huber had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Volkmar Radermacher from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ansgar Allmeier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dieter Huber firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tony Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Thon FSV booed when Dettum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obbo Kratina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ansgar Allmeier struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Dieter Huber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thon FSV. Dieter Huber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volkmar Radermacher in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dettum FC's Obbo Kratina got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Dettum FC's Dieter Huber got control of the ball when Ansgar Allmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otmar Löffler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Kissling, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ansgar Allmeier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Kissling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Volkmar Radermacher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Volkmar Radermacher to strike the kick off in the second half. Otmar Löffler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Baume in the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ansgar Allmeier put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dieter Huber. Dieter Huber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ansgar Allmeier in the 62nd minute of play. Marcel Reinauer hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, Dettum FC's Gunnar Bolle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otmar Löffler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dettum FC reached it. Dieter Huber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ansgar Allmeier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volkmar Radermacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Huber having to interfere. When Thon FSV's Volkmar Radermacher in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dettum FC's goalie prevented a goal. Otmar Löffler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harry Kissling showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 93 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pat Weitenhagen got free with Otmar Löffler in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Thon FSV had played much better football throughout.
