Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ludwig Labouvie started the match with the kick off. Robert Jakobs hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Fritz Baruch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthäus Pluta went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute, Thorsten Mrosek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matthäus Pluta took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Baruch. Fritz Baruch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thorsten Mrosek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fritz Baruch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kickers's zone, Matthäus Pluta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Baruch came out of the goal and Matthäus Pluta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Björn Hanebuth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Grein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthäus Pluta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Baruch having to interfere. Arnd Staudt charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnd Staudt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Arnd Staudt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes, FC Kickers's Charles Manes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Theo Grein came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Kickers reached it. 35 minutes into the match, FC Kickers's goalkeeper Fritz Baruch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Franke. FC Kickers's Fritz Baruch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kickers from getting a goal against them. In the 41stth minute of the game Thorsten Mrosek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kickers's Fritz Baruch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Thorsten Mrosek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thorsten Mrosek to make the kick off. Ludwig Labouvie was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. FC Kickers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kickers's zone, Thorsten Mrosek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Baruch came out of the goal and Thorsten Mrosek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Sichelnstein FSV's Thorsten Mrosek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fritz Baruch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matthäus Pluta struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Fritz Baruch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sichelnstein FSV. 70 minutes into the match, Thorsten Mrosek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fritz Baruch. FC Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorsten Mrosek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Thorsten Mrosek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fritz Baruch having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Matthäus Pluta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fritz Baruch was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Robert Jakobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Theo Grein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthäus Pluta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthäus Pluta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Baruch having to interfere. When Sichelnstein FSV's Thorsten Mrosek in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kickers's goalie prevented a goal. Fritz Baruch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorsten Mrosek, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sichelnstein FSV had played much better football throughout.
