Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnold Leupold took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Arnold Leupold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Schossow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otmar Düvel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Preußner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atze Gödtel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Meckenbach FSV's Tizian Kunz got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Meckenbach FSV's zone, Atze Gödtel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Preußner came out of the goal and Atze Gödtel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Preußner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Leupold in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Leopold Bednarski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jean Preußner. Leopold Bednarski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Arnold Leupold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnold Leupold might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean Preußner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnold Leupold ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Meckenbach FSV's zone, Atze Gödtel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Preußner came out of the goal and Atze Gödtel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnold Leupold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Preußner having to make a save. Meckenbach FSV's Jean Preußner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Leupold in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Meckenbach FSV booed when SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Suhrke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Arnold Leupold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Leupold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopold Bednarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jean Preußner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Arnold Leupold fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopold Bednarski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jean Preußner. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. The supporters of SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 booed when Meckenbach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volker Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopold Bednarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jean Preußner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Preußner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Suhrke in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otmar Düvel made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Meckenbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Bednarski came free, but Jean Preußner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Schossow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Born in the 54th minute of play. Franco Bein's late challenge caught a SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Bein helped the player get up and apologised. The SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04's Arnold Leupold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Georg Schossow didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco El Uriagli went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Herbert Suhrke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Preußner having to interfere. The supporters of SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 booed when Meckenbach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Tammen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Arnold Leupold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Preußner was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Meckenbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Suhrke came free, but Jean Preußner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arnold Leupold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Preußner was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Marco El Uriagli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lüder Behm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Preußner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnold Leupold went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SSV SCHALKE KNAPPEN 04 fully deserved thier win.
