After a defensive mix-up in Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV's zone, Tim Schurer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernward Schleiden came out of the goal and Tim Schurer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Finn Eberl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ralf Poschmann kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Finn Eberl came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Looshof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Finn Eberl couldn't finish the play. If Rouven Resch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute of the match Michele Hirschberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernward Schleiden showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernward Schleiden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodor Schuber, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV's Bernward Schleiden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Schurer in the 33rd minute of play. When Gottfried Fabisch fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV's protests and gave Gottfried Fabisch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Gottfried Fabisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Theodor Schuber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernward Schleiden was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Tim Schurer kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV's keeper Bernward Schleiden was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ludwig Osmers charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludwig Osmers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Looshof booed when Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Osmers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Poschmann kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV's Alessandro Hanisch got a free kick in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Tim Schurer put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bernward Schleiden. Finn Eberl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Bernward Schleiden made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Schuber came free, but Bernward Schleiden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernward Schleiden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodor Schuber in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Sport&Erlebnis Xantia eV getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alessandro Hanisch hit a great ball. Bernward Schleiden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rouven Resch, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Looshof's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
