Bruno Heiermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Kramer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Valentin Haubold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Albert Kraus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Heiermann made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Hendrik Janssen sent off a good shot on target. FC Luke's Valentin Haubold got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, FC Luke's goal looked a bit too open when Otis Scholven came free, but Bruno Heiermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Schubert came free, but Albert Kraus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Andreas Schubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Kraus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hendrik Janssen came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Heiermann could save by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Schubert to make the kick off. When Valentin Haubold came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Luke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Haubold couldn't finish the play. Bruno Dittrich got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Figen Riedel. Valentin Haubold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Kraus was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Valentin Haubold capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Haubold really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. FC Luke's Ringo Baumgärtner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bruno Dittrich in the 78 minute of the game. Andreas Schubert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Kraus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Schubert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Valentin Haubold fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle sounded FC Luke left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kosmonauten Prenzelberg.
