Uwe Tengstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igli Bieling having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Tengstedt in the 9th minute of play forced Kemperhof's goalkeeper Igli Bieling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Angersbach booed when Kemperhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Helm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitar Schlagbauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Dimitar Schlagbauer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igli Bieling. Kemperhof's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitar Schlagbauer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hernando Kühle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Igli Bieling. Kemperhof's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Uwe Tengstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igli Bieling having to interfere. Dimitar Schlagbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igli Bieling having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Lothar Lautenbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute Dimitar Schlagbauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igli Bieling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match Taketaka Runge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igli Bieling skillfully saved the ball. In the 44th minute, Dimitar Schlagbauer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igli Bieling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uwe Tengstedt to make the kick off. If Dimitar Schlagbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Dimitar Schlagbauer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igli Bieling came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Angersbach's Uwe Tengstedt. But to his dismay, Uwe Tengstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Angersbach booed when Kemperhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Hellwig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angersbach's Taketaka Runge couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kemperhof. 74 minutes into the match, Kemperhof's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Tengstedt came free, but Igli Bieling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Kemperhof got a freekick which was hit by Holger Franzen. Uwe Tengstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igli Bieling having to interfere.
