AEK Wuppertal's supporters rose to their feet, but Volker Nehm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siegfried Künstler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 31 minutes, Henri Schmid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dominik Kluck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merten Bolle in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Heike's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Kluck was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Thunpadel's Dominik Kluck threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Merten Bolle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ronaldo Heike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Kluck made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ronaldo Heike sent off a good shot on target. The AEK Wuppertal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Thunpadel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
