The audience was convinced that Klement Furst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godo Scheffold was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hartmut Scharfscheer got free with Godo Scheffold in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Gutte to strike the kick off in the second half. Godo Scheffold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Furst in the 55th minute of play. After 55 played minutes erkenschwicker sv got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Böll. After having played for 56 minutes, Hartmut Scharfscheer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Willwerath FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hartmut Scharfscheer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Klement Furst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Willwerath FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Furst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godo Scheffold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Willwerath FSV's Erhard Borger got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Klement Furst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godo Scheffold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, erkenschwicker sv's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Schmidt came free, but Godo Scheffold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Klement Furst put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Godo Scheffold. There was no doubt that Willwerath FSV were the better team. Willwerath FSV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
