Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ingemar Bayer kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Chris Markmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boyda's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Markmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Scherzer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claus Euskirchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Quinkert in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Ulrich Quinkert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Euskirchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sport Club Giresun's Albert Scherzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aydin Trachsel in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ingemar Bayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Scherzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Giresun's zone, Aydin Trachsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Scherzer came out of the goal and Aydin Trachsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Alois Nittbaur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sport Club Giresun's Albert Scherzer. Albert Scherzer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alois Nittbaur kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Merten Jakobs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Giresun and the Boyda players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sport Club Giresun getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Merten Jakobs hit a great ball. Simon Bukschat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albert Scherzer. Sport Club Giresun's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Merten Jakobs got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 34th match minute, Sport Club Giresun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merten Jakobs to maneuver through the defense. Ingemar Bayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Albert Scherzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Sport Club Giresun's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Bayer came free, but Albert Scherzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aydin Trachsel got free with Albert Scherzer in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute, Bruno Klefel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Giresun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Boyda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Bayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. One of Sport Club Giresun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boyda:s goal. 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 63 played minutes, when Boyda:s Simon Bukschat calmly waited for Sport Club Giresun:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After having played for 69 minutes, Ingemar Bayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boyda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Bayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Sport Club Giresun's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Bayer came free, but Albert Scherzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ingemar Bayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Scherzer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aydin Trachsel in the 79th minute. Aydin Trachsel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 81st playminute. Claus Euskirchen came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Giresun's Bruno Klefel. But to his dismay, Bruno Klefel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Ingemar Bayer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Scherzer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ingemar Bayer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 93 minute of play. Aydin Trachsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
