Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rieden FC's Ersan Magath started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Andrew Spieler came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Kating FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Spieler couldn't finish the play. Tillmann Bartholome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reimund Wallner having to interfere. Ersan Magath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kating FSV getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Don Teves hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Spieler in the 12th minute of play forced Rieden FC's goalkeeper Reimund Wallner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ersan Magath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ersan Magath succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Rainer Joachimsmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justus Halbroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Magath in the 26th minute of play. Rainer Joachimsmeier took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justus Halbroth. Justus Halbroth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Justus Halbroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersan Magath, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Andrew Spieler came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Kating FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Spieler couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Andrew Spieler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reimund Wallner, 1-2. Kating FSV's Justus Halbroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Magath in the 46th minute of play. If Ersan Magath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrew Spieler made a kick off. Andrew Spieler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Höfner kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Andrew Spieler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reimund Wallner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kating FSV defense, Ersan Magath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justus Halbroth. The Kating FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justus Halbroth should have stopped the shot. Justus Halbroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Magath in the 68th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Chris Skrotzki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kating FSV and the Rieden FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, one of Kating FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Rieden FC's Ernst Blomeyer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Justus Halbroth. When Ersan Magath came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Rieden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ersan Magath couldn't finish the play. Rico Heberer's late challenge caught a Rieden FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rico Heberer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kating FSV's Rico Heberer got a free kick in the 84th minute. Sebastian Höfner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rainer Joachimsmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Justus Halbroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Kating FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Teves to maneuver through the defense. Rieden FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
