Anton Pätzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merten Propst in the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes FC Schnuf got a freekick which was hit by Janosch Strickner. FC Schnuf's Anton Pätzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC Schnuf from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Underdog United's Klemens Lehmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Pätzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, FC Schnuf's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Jagnow came free, but Anton Pätzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Brei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedl Bretschneider in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Friedl Bretschneider ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Brei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, FC Schnuf's goalkeeper Anton Pätzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Jagnow. FC Schnuf's Anton Pätzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC Schnuf from getting a goal against them. Janosch Strickner kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Underdog United's Simon Jagnow slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Pätzel. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. Anton Pätzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernot Häfner, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. FC Schnuf's Anton Pätzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klemens Lehmer in the 34th minute of play. Anton Pätzel made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Simon Jagnow sent off a good shot on target. After 41 minutes, Gernot Häfner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Underdog United and the FC Schnuf players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Immo Buchen in the 44th minute of play forced Underdog United's goalkeeper Olaf Brei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernot Häfner in the 45th minute of play forced FC Schnuf's goalkeeper Anton Pätzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Schnuf's Anton Pätzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save FC Schnuf from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Friedl Bretschneider to make the kick off. Anton Pätzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernot Häfner, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Friedl Bretschneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernot Häfner in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Pätzel saved FC Schnuf from getting behind. Immo Buchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Underdog United booed when FC Schnuf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedrich Ngo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janosch Strickner hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Simon Jagnow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Pätzel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 77th minute, FC Schnuf's Friedl Bretschneider dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Underdog United's Simon Jagnow got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Simon Jagnow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Underdog United's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Jagnow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Pätzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Jagnow in the 86th minute of play forced FC Schnuf's goalkeeper Anton Pätzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Friedrich Ngo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Friedrich Ngo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Underdog United's Simon Jagnow got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Friedl Bretschneiders short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Olaf Brei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
