Donatus Pieth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelaziz Nauth went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Arne Blohme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc.leverkusen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfskehlen the free kick. The supporters of Wolfskehlen booed when fc.leverkusen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Blohme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Sven Jordan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc.leverkusen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfskehlen the free kick. Roland Nicklis, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dinu Ganea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Björn Schieske had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donatus Pieth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Jordan in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes Wolfskehlen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Nicklis who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Björn Schieske managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc.leverkusen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Schieske was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. fc.leverkusen's Adam Rüdiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save fc.leverkusen from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Wolfskehlen getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Benno Zapf hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, fc.leverkusen's goalkeeper Adam Rüdiger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Zabel. After a defensive mix-up in fc.leverkusen's zone, Viktor Zabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Rüdiger came out of the goal and Viktor Zabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
