Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Urs Spruck got the match started through his kick off. Mathias Banken hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Speele FC's Julian Ries-Müller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Raucher in the 5th minute of play. Florentin Szangolies's late challenge caught a Schmantevitz FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentin Szangolies helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Florentin Szangolies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Schmantevitz FSV's Janosch Lenke tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Delron Neher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Julian Ries-Müller made a huge save. Urs Spruck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Rutkowski having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schmantevitz FSV's goalkeeper Harald Rutkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albert Danz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Rutkowski having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Urs Spruck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speele FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urs Spruck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krister Raucher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Ries-Müller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Urs Spruck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schmantevitz FSV's Harald Rutkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albert Danz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Schmantevitz FSV getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Edgar Appel hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Speele FC's Eric Räthe tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Speele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Raucher came free, but Julian Ries-Müller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urs Spruck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Rutkowski having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krister Raucher to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Urs Spruck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krister Raucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Speele FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mathias Banken hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Harald Rutkowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edgar Appel's late challenge caught a Speele FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Appel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Speele FC booed when Schmantevitz FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Appel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Speele FC's zone, Delron Neher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Ries-Müller came out of the goal and Delron Neher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delron Neher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julian Ries-Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Schmantevitz FSV were furious when Janosch Lenke was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Schmantevitz FSV! Eric Räthe walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Urs Spruck came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Speele FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urs Spruck couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Albert Danz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speele FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Danz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
