Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Red Cologne's Gunter Schober started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Kostja Seiss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Cologne's Larry Toth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th match minute, Olching was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Stößlein to maneuver through the defense. If Gunter Schober had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menno Boehnke hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Gregor Opfermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gunter Schober had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoph Loos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunter Schober, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kostja Seiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larry Toth having to interfere. In the 26th minute Kostja Seiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larry Toth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostja Seiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Larry Toth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Red Cologne's Lothar Junglas got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kurt Stößlein came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Olching fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Stößlein couldn't finish the play. Kurt Stößlein scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Larry Toth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Red Cologne players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olching were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kostja Seiss to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Manuel Seeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kostja Seiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Olching's goal looked a bit too open when Lothar Junglas came free, but Christoph Loos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Red Cologne's Gunter Schober sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoph Loos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christoph Loos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lothar Junglas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Olching booed when Red Cologne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunter Schober didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Cologne's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kostja Seiss 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 84th match minute, Olching was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanno Bonacker to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Kostja Seiss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Larry Toth. That made the score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Cologne's zone, Kostja Seiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Larry Toth came out of the goal and Kostja Seiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olching eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
