In the 3rd minute of the match Jörg Vogel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Pappert skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Manuel Burkert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sankt Aldegund FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Burkert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Pappert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Pappert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volker Irmler in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Volker Irmler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anton Pappert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstantin Amelung charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstantin Amelung the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Mölmeshof got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Amelung. Manuel Burkert struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Anton Pappert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sankt Aldegund FC. Volker Irmler scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Pappert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mölmeshof's Onno Schmidberger got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Onno Schmidberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Schreiner having to interfere. Hark Weber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Schreiner having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Onno Schmidberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Schreiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mölmeshof booed when Sankt Aldegund FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horst Repplinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Schreiner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Onno Schmidberger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Mölmeshof's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Burkert came free, but Anton Pappert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Volker Irmler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Pappert was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Sankt Aldegund FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Hark Weber in the 52nd minute of play forced Sankt Aldegund FC's goalkeeper Otto Schreiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes in the game, Volker Irmler fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anton Pappert having to interfere. Karsten Bornemann kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Volker Irmler succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Volker Irmler charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Manuel Burkert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Pappert having to interfere. Volker Irmler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Burkert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, one of Mölmeshof:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Klaus Imhof placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the match was over Sankt Aldegund FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mölmeshof throughout the match.
