Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Markus Gerken started the match with the kick off. Markus Gerken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wolfhard Wesche's late challenge caught a Köln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolfhard Wesche helped the player get up and apologised. 4 minutes into the game, one of FC Niebieskie Dachy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Frank Oesswein shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jeremias Andreowsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mathieu Gleißberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Jeremias Andreowsky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köln's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Andreowsky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathieu Gleißberg made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Volker Jetter sent off a good shot on target. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Köln! Köln:s Matthias Böwering showed great skill when he stopped Eberhard Gehlhaar:s penalty. FC Niebieskie Dachy's Markus Gerken got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Volker Jetter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Volker Jetter struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mathieu Gleißberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köln. The audience was convinced that Wigalf Hommertgen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathieu Gleißberg was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Volker Jetter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathieu Gleißberg made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Wigalf Hommertgen sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Niebieskie Dachy getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Willy Nachtwei hit a great ball. Wigalf Hommertgen might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathieu Gleißberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wigalf Hommertgen ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Volker Jetter made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Köln's goalkeeper Matthias Böwering had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pekko Dürr. In the 54th minute, Volker Jetter made a precise shot to the right of Mathieu Gleißberg. FC Niebieskie Dachy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Volker Jetter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu Gleißberg having to interfere. If Wigalf Hommertgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Volker Jetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mathieu Gleißberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Volker Jetter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathieu Gleißberg came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Köln's Sylvester Grytz. But to his dismay, Sylvester Grytz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Köln's Volker Jetter in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Niebieskie Dachy's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Köln's zone, Markus Gerken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Böwering came out of the goal and Markus Gerken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Volker Jetter came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Köln fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Volker Jetter couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Köln failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
