Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robby Falk started the match with the kick off. Markus Louven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gottfried Warschau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Meral Wild was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sengerich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorn FC the free kick. In the 9th minute, Meral Wild hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sengerich's Gottfried Warschau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Louven in the 11th minute of play. When Robby Falk came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sengerich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robby Falk couldn't finish the play. Sengerich's Kolja Schache got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Robby Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Louven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gottfried Warschau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Sengerich getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Walter Hönes hit a great ball. Markus Louven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gottfried Warschau having to make a save. If Kolja Schache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kolja Schache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heinz Howeg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robby Falk in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Louven to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Walter Hönes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heinz Howeg. Zorn FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Hönes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Zorn FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ernst Hartwig hit a great ball. Heinz Howeg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Falk, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Zorn FC's Marc Ramme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gottfried Warschau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Meral Wild was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After 64 played minutes Sengerich got a freekick which was hit by Meral Wild. Zorn FC's Markus Louven got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gottfried Warschau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Ramme in the 68th minute of play. Marc Ramme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Robby Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sengerich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robby Falk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zorn FC's Heinz Howeg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Zorn FC from getting a goal against them. Robby Falk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Louven in the 93rd minute of play forced Sengerich's goalkeeper Gottfried Warschau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robby Falk hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes Sengerich's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rouven Weigant who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Rouven Weigant almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sengerich's Gottfried Warschau did a great save.
