Lee Hertl hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gregor Bilger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. York Peth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Timm Abernett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Lester Lammers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Giovanni Kurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, York Peth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timm Abernett. fc-augustin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that York Peth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Gregor Bilger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gregor Bilger came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Wilzenburg FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregor Bilger couldn't finish the play. When Wilzenburg FSV's York Peth in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manfred Lazarus to make the kick off. After 60 played minutes Wilzenburg FSV got a freekick which was hit by York Peth. Lester Lammers hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. A collision led to fc-augustin getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tonio Auer hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandros Altmann during the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilzenburg FSV's York Peth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Timm Abernett. That made the score 1-3 after 86 minutes of play. Wilzenburg FSV were furious when Giovanni Kurtz was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for fc-augustin.
