Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hans Avenarius made the kick off and thus started the match. Gordon Reckufer hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Esperde FSV's Hubert Domann got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Esperde FSV's zone, Gordon Reckufer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Rügner came out of the goal and Gordon Reckufer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, 1 FC LOK's goalkeeper Kai Fritsche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aydin Kneissli. In the 18th minute Detlev Welp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Fritsche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Detlev Welp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Henning Rügner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Avenarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kai Fritsche made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Aydin Kneissli sent off a good shot on target. Henning Rügner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Oliver Hareter in the 34th minute of play. Henning Rügner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Oliver Hareter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Oliver Hareter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Henning Rügner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Oliver Hareter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Avenarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Henning Rügner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lars Oliver Hareter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Detlev Welp to make the kick off. Esperde FSV were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after 1 FC LOK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hubert Domann took the corner. The audience was convinced that Aydin Kneissli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kai Fritsche was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After having played for 59 minutes, Lars Oliver Hareter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1 FC LOK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Oliver Hareter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Kay Allmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esperde FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1 FC LOK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Esperde FSV's Kay Allmann got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Henning Rügner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Avenarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Henning Rügner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Avenarius in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 1 FC LOK's Graciano Litten got a free kick in the 66th minute. Aydin Kneissli might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kai Fritsche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aydin Kneissli ran back to his position shaking his head. 1 FC LOK's Hans Avenarius got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Esperde FSV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 1 FC LOK:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hubert Domann during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esperde FSV! Henning Rügner had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Rick Paulssen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Henning Rügner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Oliver Hareter, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, 1 FC LOK's Lars Oliver Hareter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Rügner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Hans Avenarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Rügner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Hans Avenarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1 FC LOK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Avenarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Oliver Hareter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Avenarius in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Rügner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Despite being the better team, 1 FC LOK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
