The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Büemke FC's Connor Bonhoeffer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Renner in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Büemke FC's Fred Klöser got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Clemens Bossert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Connor Bonhoeffer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemens Bossert's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, fc bayern münchen's Karl Goldmann seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karl Goldmann the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of fc bayern münchen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl Goldmann had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Büemke FC's Marko Bösing got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernando Palm. In the 28th minute, Filippo Neffin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in fc bayern münchen's zone, Lewis Fuchs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Palm came out of the goal and Lewis Fuchs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Büemke FC booed when fc bayern münchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Benkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemens Bossert to strike the kick off in the second half. Filippo Neffin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. fc bayern münchen's Olav Hettlich was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Connor Bonhoeffer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Klöser in the 59th minute of play forced fc bayern münchen's goalkeeper Fernando Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes fc bayern münchen got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Vöhringer. After recieving a nice pass, Büemke FC's Marko Bösing tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Lewis Fuchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmerich Thome kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gregor Steinkopf kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Büemke FC's goalkeeper Connor Bonhoeffer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemens Bossert. Horst Ranke's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Connor Bonhoeffer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leo Benkel charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Benkel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, fc bayern münchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Benkel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, fc bayern münchen's Emmerich Thome got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 89 minutes into the match, fc bayern münchen's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Klöser came free, but Fernando Palm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Clemens Bossert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Connor Bonhoeffer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
