Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorg Kunz made the kick off which started today's match. If Lorenz Darmstadt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Thomashof's Waldemar Thiele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnold Abdelwahab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Robert Willmann fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charlottenhof's protests and gave Robert Willmann a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Thomashof booed when Charlottenhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Willmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Waldemar Thiele took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnold Abdelwahab to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th minute David Bobzien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Abdelwahab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Willmann hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. David Bobzien was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. David Bobzien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Abdelwahab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Waldemar Thiele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Bobzien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenz Darmstadt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Forusan Gröner having to interfere. Thomashof's Forusan Gröner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenz Darmstadt in the 33rd minute of play. Jorg Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Stefan Schikora took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arnold Abdelwahab to make any attempt to save it. Thomashof's Augustin Schützer suffered a sore thigh after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 47 minutes, Ronald Bechtle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlottenhof and the Thomashof players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Charlottenhof got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Bechtle.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldemar Thiele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, David Bobzien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Thomashof's zone, Jorg Kunz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Forusan Gröner came out of the goal and Jorg Kunz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Eilers struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Arnold Abdelwahab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thomashof. Arnold Abdelwahab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Thiele in the 66th minute of the match. Gerold Nadel's late challenge caught a Charlottenhof's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerold Nadel helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Thomashof! In the 71st minute Waldemar Thiele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Abdelwahab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Thiele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Eilers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arnold Abdelwahab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play Charlottenhof's Ronald Bechtle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Charlottenhof getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ronald Bechtle hit a great ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charlottenhof's goalkeeper Arnold Abdelwahab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Waldemar Thiele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thomashof's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Thiele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Abdelwahab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomashof's Waldemar Thiele got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 100 minutes into the match, Thomashof's goal looked a bit too open when Jorg Kunz came free, but Forusan Gröner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomashof's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
