After 5 minutes, Aureliano Santa Cruz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stockem's Sebastian Höfken tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Ambrock's goal looked a bit too open when Memet Kuppermann came free, but Conni Berlepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Ambrock got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Mattes. Adi Butenweg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sebastian Höfken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Stockem's goalkeeper Sebastian Höfken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adi Butenweg. After a defensive mix-up in Ambrock's zone, Ricky Röwe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conni Berlepp came out of the goal and Ricky Röwe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Höfken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Santa Cruz in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Ambrock's Aureliano Santa Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Höfken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Ambrock's Benjamin Mattes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Santa Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Adi Butenweg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sebastian Höfken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Aureliano Santa Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockem's Sebastian Höfken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Santa Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Memet Kuppermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Ambrock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Schick to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Mattes's late challenge caught a Stockem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Mattes helped the player get up and apologised. During the 96th minute of the match Benjamin Mattes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benjamin Mattes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ambrock walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
