The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The tension between the Oberstehöhe FC and the Turul FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Oberstehöhe FC got a freekick which was hit by Robby Schramm. Eugen Geyer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chris Louven. Oberstehöhe FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Haiko Pohl took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chris Louven. Chris Louven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jörg Schellenberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Steffen Pradt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haiko Pohl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Louven having to interfere.
