Unterbergscheid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Mattis Mack scored to the left of an out of position Marian Jakobeit, making the score, 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Unterbergscheid's goalkeeper Marian Jakobeit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peer Wagefeld. Frieder Evertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimund Streichfuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Ruck in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Unterbergscheid's Marian Jakobeit got control of the ball when Peer Wagefeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Mattis Mack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Jakobeit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Unterbergscheid's Alfonso Käding got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Mattis Mack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattis Mack in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Jakobeit saved Unterbergscheid from getting behind. Peer Wagefeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Mattis Mack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. InterWerder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattis Mack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peer Wagefeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peer Wagefeld got free with Marian Jakobeit in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Werner Ruck made the kick off in the second half. Frieder Evertz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimund Streichfuss having to interfere. If Werner Ruck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Jakobeit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattis Mack's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Marian Jakobeit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peer Wagefeld in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, InterWerder's Raimund Streichfuss got control of the ball when Frieder Evertz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peer Wagefeld's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Jakobeit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Peer Wagefeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unterbergscheid's Marian Jakobeit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marian Jakobeit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattis Mack in the 72nd minute of play. If Peer Wagefeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Frieder Evertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unterbergscheid's Marian Jakobeit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattis Mack in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Unterbergscheid getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bertram Bettin hit a great ball. InterWerder's Daniel Türke couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Unterbergscheid. Peer Wagefeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marian Jakobeit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Mattis Mack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. InterWerder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattis Mack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduard Klee hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Peer Wagefeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Jakobeit having to interfere. Unterbergscheid's Marian Jakobeit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattis Mack in the 96th minute of play. Unterbergscheid's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
