Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wolfgang Rippert started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Cornelis Caspary managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Scheibendorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelis Caspary was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cornelis Caspary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Axel Seifert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Burkhard Gabler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelis Caspary, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The referee ignored TSV Scheibendorf's protests and gave Lars Oliver Bussler a yellow card for diving instead. Kurt Schnell walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelis Caspary stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Todenmann's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Axel Seifert fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 53 played minutes Todenmann got a freekick which was hit by Tord Jadamowitz. Uli König hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uli König during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Todenmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uli König to maneuver through the defense. Lars Oliver Bussler was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cornelis Caspary received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Burkhard Gabler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Seifert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burkhard Gabler having to interfere. Todenmann's Burkhard Gabler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelis Caspary in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Todenmann's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelis Caspary came free, but Burkhard Gabler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaclav Laing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gretel Klebs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Vaclav Laing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gretel Klebs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Todenmann's Uli König got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Vaclav Laing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gretel Klebs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaclav Laing in the 81st minute of play. If Berend Hirsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelis Caspary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burkhard Gabler having to interfere. Todenmann's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
