Torben Störmsdörfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lothar Scharfenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Heiko Schemel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the PurpsMunichMagic defense, Felix Rammer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dietmar de Raaf. The PurpsMunichMagic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dietmar de Raaf should have stopped the shot. In the 12th match minute, Bonner SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel El Uriagli to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, PurpsMunichMagic's Lothar Scharfenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heiko Schemel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, PurpsMunichMagic's Romeo Türke made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heiko Schemel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romeo Türke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Heiko Schemel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burkhard Saft in the 27th minute of the match. Torben Störmsdörfer struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Heiko Schemel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PurpsMunichMagic. After having played for 34 minutes, Lothar Scharfenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PurpsMunichMagic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lothar Scharfenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Burkhard Saft in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Schemel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heiko Schemel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lothar Scharfenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burkhard Saft in the 40th minute of play forced Bonner SC's goalkeeper Heiko Schemel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bonner SC's zone, Torben Störmsdörfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heiko Schemel came out of the goal and Torben Störmsdörfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 minutes Bonner SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paul Hebenthal who took care of the corner kick. PurpsMunichMagic's Paul Hebenthal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heiko Schemel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Burkhard Saft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Heiko Schemel made a huge save. Burkhard Saft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torben Störmsdörfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bonner SC's Heiko Schemel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lothar Scharfenberg in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Bonner SC's Heiko Schemel got control of the ball when Burkhard Saft tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Bonner SC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Türke came free, but Heiko Schemel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lothar Scharfenberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Heiko Schemel came out and tried to block the shot, but Lothar Scharfenberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 80th minute. When Burkhard Saft came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the PurpsMunichMagic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burkhard Saft couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Toni Hummel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dietmar de Raaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dietmar de Raaf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel El Uriagli in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Burkhard Saft managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PurpsMunichMagic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burkhard Saft was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bonner SC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. André Lukas hit a great ball. PurpsMunichMagic played a much better game than Bonner SC and deserved their victory. The Bonner SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
