Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jürgen Kaiwesch started the match with the kick off. Walther Schädlich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferit Schönhuber in the 7th minute of the match. Walther Schädlich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achim Schulte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achim Schulte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Walther Schädlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zoller kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Ferit Schönhuber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Schädlich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Kochert charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Kochert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Ballsport 09's Walther Schädlich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achim Schulte in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, FC Ballsport 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Motzer to maneuver through the defense. Stephan Goldsche took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walther Schädlich. Walther Schädlich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daniel Zoller hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ballsport 09's goalkeeper Walther Schädlich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Walther Schädlich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iso Olbrich in the 36th minute of play. Michael Kochert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jossip Matzke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans-Jürgen Richter to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Ballsport 09 booed when Börnersdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferit Schönhuber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ante Knoll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jossip Matzke having to interfere. FC Ballsport 09's Walther Schädlich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ballsport 09 from getting a goal against them. Walther Schädlich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stephan Goldsche went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Walther Schädlich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephan Goldsche in the 80th minute. Walther Schädlich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferit Schönhuber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Tim Kreuz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ballsport 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Börnersdorf the free kick. Tim Kreuz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Ballsport 09 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Daniel Zoller hit a great ball.
