The supporters of Bayer04 booed when Salzburghofen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Brummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karol Gutmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Öhlmann kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heiko Spiller in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Wülfing saved Salzburghofen from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Bonifatius Wissmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgar Wülfing, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Heiko Spiller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayer04's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
