Kai Klöckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eckhard Willsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Hübener, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute, Armin Klaßen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claus Hartl, passed just outside the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Josereute's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Klaßen came free, but Claus Hartl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armin Klaßen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Josereute booed when Hanburg Spaß Verein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Majewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eckhard Willsch came out of the goal and Heiko Haldenwanger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Hanburg Spaß Verein players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Josereute were winning 0-1.

52 minutes into the game, Utz Boshold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hanburg Spaß Verein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Josereute the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Josereute's Vaclav Gatzke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eckhard Willsch. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. A collision led to Josereute getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gerke Viapiano hit a great ball. Claus Hartl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Klöckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Richard Riedel's late challenge caught a Josereute's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Riedel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Richard Riedel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaclav Gatzke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eckhard Willsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaclav Gatzke got free with Eckhard Willsch in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximilian Marsching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. When Raphael Hübener came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Josereute fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Hübener couldn't finish the play.
