Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Medelon FSV's Arthur Rennert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Altgernsdorf defense, Stefan Stratmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Morris Gawletta. The Altgernsdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Morris Gawletta should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Christoph-Felix Weyand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medelon FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altgernsdorf the free kick. The supporters of Altgernsdorf booed when Medelon FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoph-Felix Weyand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Rennert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Morris Gawletta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Medelon FSV got a freekick which was hit by Christoph-Felix Weyand. Manfred Sauter was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Adam Mientus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Mientus really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If Stefan Stratmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altgernsdorf's goalkeeper Morris Gawletta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Stefan Stratmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Morris Gawletta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Altgernsdorf's Morris Gawletta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Stratmann in the 42nd minute of play. Stefan Stratmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morris Gawletta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Mientus to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Walter Haak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfred Sauter was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Adam Mientus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Sauter having to interfere. Altgernsdorf's Morris Gawletta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Rennert in the 57th minute of play. If Adam Mientus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Haak struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Manfred Sauter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altgernsdorf. 63 minutes into the match, Medelon FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Mientus came free, but Manfred Sauter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Haak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Manfred Sauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Altgernsdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Grüner to maneuver through the defense. Altgernsdorf's Morris Gawletta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Altgernsdorf from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Mientus in the 87th minute of play forced Medelon FSV's goalkeeper Manfred Sauter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Sauter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Haak, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Medelon FSV's Manfred Sauter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Mientus in the 92nd minute of play. When Arthur Rennert came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Medelon FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Rennert couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Medelon FSV booed when Altgernsdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Leitert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
