If Trent Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philipp Huff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Hamann's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Niclas Elser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp Huff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Mantinghausen's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Hamann came free, but Philipp Huff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eichelsdorf FSV's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pascal Lötzsch 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 14th minute, Theodor Frenck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philipp Huff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Elser, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Peter Hamann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Huff having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Peter Hamann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eichelsdorf FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Hamann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philipp Huff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Elser in the 27th minute of the match. If Kirsten Sauter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kirsten Sauter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klaudius Fiedler charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaudius Fiedler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Eichelsdorf FSV's Klaudius Fiedler got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Mantinghausen were awarded a corner. Jerzy Vogelsänger went to the cornerflag to take it. Mantinghausen's Jerzy Vogelsänger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 40 played minutes Eichelsdorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Peter Hamann. In the 42nd minute, Klaudius Fiedler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Lötzsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascal Lötzsch to make the kick off. Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirsten Sauter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kirsten Sauter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber having to interfere. When Sigurd Reidinger fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mantinghausen's protests and gave Sigurd Reidinger a yellow card for diving instead. 66 minutes into the match, Eichelsdorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Kirsten Sauter came free, but Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philipp Huff made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Peter Hamann sent off a good shot on target. Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Lötzsch in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Niclas Elser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute of the match, Niclas Elser tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Philipp Huff saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 82 minutes into the game, Mantinghausen's Pascal Lötzsch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf-Joachim Wollenweber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 87th minute of the match, Peter Hamann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Philipp Huff was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 94th minute Niclas Elser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp Huff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mantinghausen had won after a very even match.
