Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sascha Pfeffer made the kick off and thus started the match. Marlon Petershagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Paul Rudolph in the 4th minute of play. Alan Urbanek took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marlon Petershagen. Marlon Petershagen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Alan Urbanek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Alan Urbanek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerhard Meibeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Trips FSV's Herbert Kielwein got control of the ball when Gerhard Meibeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Gerhard Meibeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerhard Meibeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Metel's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Paul Rudolph came free, but Marlon Petershagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Markus Paul Rudolph's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marlon Petershagen was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Markus Paul Rudolph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Petershagen having to interfere. After the first half Trips FSV were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Markus Paul Rudolph could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marlon Petershagen made a huge save. Gerhard Meibeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, Trips FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimir Nebel to maneuver through the defense. If Sascha Pfeffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Trips FSV's zone, Sascha Pfeffer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Kielwein came out of the goal and Sascha Pfeffer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimir Nebel during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Trips FSV got a freekick which was hit by Casimir Nebel. In the 68th minute, Gerhard Meibeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malte Jojade's late challenge caught a Metel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Jojade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Trips FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Jojade to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Trips FSV's Casimir Nebel got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Steffen Beyer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Kielwein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marlon Petershagen made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Alan Urbanek sent off a good shot on target. Markus Paul Rudolph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marlon Petershagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Paul Rudolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sascha Pfeffer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Kielwein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
