In the 53rd minute, one of Uckeritz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uckeritz. The referee gave Stuckenbusch FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mirco Nitsch, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uckeritz's Tom Rotheuler. 1-2. Uckeritz's Robert Stecura got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Toppmöller might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Börnert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Toppmöller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andreas Börnert. That made the score 1-5 in the 79 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Marcel Linde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stuckenbusch FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Sebastian Toppmöller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uckeritz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
