Heiner Scherer took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaudius Hopp. Klaudius Hopp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Heiner Scherer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Klaudius Hopp managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Rückeroth FC's Gernot Drumm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Marco Reimann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Tiefengrün FC's Marco Reimann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moses Drösser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Rückeroth FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rene Schützinger hit a great ball. The supporters of Tiefengrün FC booed when Rückeroth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Schützinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernot Drumm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sascha Schneidereit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Gernot Drumm notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tiefengrün FC's Klaudius Hopp. Klaudius Hopp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernot Drumm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiefengrün FC's Klaudius Hopp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernot Drumm in the 52nd minute of play. Klaudius Hopp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Derm in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gernot Drumm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rückeroth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernot Drumm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaudius Hopp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gernot Drumm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Klaudius Hopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rückeroth FC's Ken Tiedemann got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gernot Drumm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Florian Derm's late challenge caught a Tiefengrün FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Derm helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Florian Derm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Tiefengrün FC's Sascha Klaassen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. In the 88th match minute, Rückeroth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Scherf to maneuver through the defense. Gernot Drumm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaudius Hopp having to interfere.
