Achim Draxinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Schöning in the 9th minute of the match. Achim Draxinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhard Pöhling, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Reinhard Pöhling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Kopf kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Großenbuch booed when Quirnheim FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Riemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, Großenbuch's Olaf Weinberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Meral Röseler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Großenbuch reached it. Wulf Seelert struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Meral Röseler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Großenbuch. Roberto Kopf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meral Röseler having to make a save. Reinhard Pöhling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wulf Seelert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Meral Röseler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Schöning to make the kick off. Achim Draxinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Schöning's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Hugo Schöning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achim Draxinger having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Roberto Kopf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meral Röseler. Quirnheim FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Kopf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Wulf Seelert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meral Röseler having to interfere. Reinhard Pöhling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Achim Draxinger made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Reinhard Pöhling got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Achim Draxinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Schöning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Reinhard Pöhling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Schöning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achim Draxinger having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Großenbuch's Roberto Kopf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meral Röseler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Reinhard Pöhling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achim Draxinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinhard Pöhling in the 95th minute. The supporters of Quirnheim FSV booed when Großenbuch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Widmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achim Draxinger acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manfred Amann. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Großenbuch had won after a very even match.
