Quirnheim FSV's Meral Röseler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolas Schaumer in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Schöning in the 14th minute of play forced Fernbreitenbach's goalkeeper Günter Overath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nickolas Schaumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Meral Röseler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torben Haileck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meral Röseler having to interfere. Hugo Schöning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günter Overath having to interfere. Karl Scholl charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Scholl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Meral Röseler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torben Haileck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Torben Haileck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torben Haileck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meral Röseler having to interfere. Günter Overath made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Reinhard Pöhling sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Nickolas Schaumer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fernbreitenbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Meral Röseler came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Fernbreitenbach's Nickolas Schaumer. But to his dismay, Nickolas Schaumer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Meral Röseler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torben Haileck in the 44th minute of play. Hugo Schöning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Fernbreitenbach's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Pöhling came free, but Günter Overath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torben Haileck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Meral Röseler made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Karl Scholl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Günter Overath. Fernbreitenbach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Scholl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 67th minute, Tobi Nolte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinhard Pöhling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günter Overath having to interfere. Nickolas Schaumer struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Meral Röseler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fernbreitenbach. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Nickolas Schaumer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fernbreitenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Nickolas Schaumer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meral Röseler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Fernbreitenbach booed when Quirnheim FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Ferschl didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Raphael Busse got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Meral Röseler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Meral Röseler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torben Haileck in the 86th minute. Torben Haileck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Meral Röseler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 90 minutes of play, Fernbreitenbach's Torben Haileck made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Meral Röseler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Schöning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Günter Overath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fernbreitenbach had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
