Paul Sass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Borgers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sinsen FSV's Andre Gütermann got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Sinsen FSV's Maximilian Borgers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Sass narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Lars Derix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sinsen FSV getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ralf Schaape hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Michael Beich notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sinsen FSV's Peter Wolf. Peter Wolf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Andre Gütermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Kolonie Hünzingen FC booed when Sinsen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Timm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kolonie Hünzingen FC's Robert Marke got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Marke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Peter Wolf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Paul Sass successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kolonie Hünzingen FC's Paul Sass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Borgers in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Beich stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rafael Timm fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinsen FSV's protests and gave Rafael Timm a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Robert Marke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolonie Hünzingen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Marke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Wolf made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Albrecht Kremer sent off a good shot on target. After 78 played minutes Kolonie Hünzingen FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Marke. After a rather tough play, Sinsen FSV's Niklas Meer got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sinsen FSV's goalkeeper Peter Wolf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Beich in the 83rd minute of play forced Sinsen FSV's goalkeeper Peter Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Wolf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Beich, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 88 played minutes Michael Beich rounded Sinsen FSV's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2.
