When Gedeon Nauert came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Imhausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gedeon Nauert couldn't finish the play. Königsthal FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Laing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gedeon Nauert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Imhausen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Imhausen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Königsthal FSV.
