Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zlatko Kreis got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Adrian Hofstetter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geitendorf FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Hofstetter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Zlatko Kreis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geitendorf FSV's Günter Zilly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sascha Hambloch during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Geitendorf FSV getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sascha Hambloch hit a great ball. Michael Frings took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joschka Filippek. Joschka Filippek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zlatko Kreis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günter Zilly having to interfere. When Jan Adler fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geitendorf FSV's protests and gave Jan Adler a yellow card for diving instead. Jan Adler hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ulli Bonin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günter Zilly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Kreis in the 30th minute of play. Adrian Hofstetter might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joschka Filippek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Hofstetter ran back to his position shaking his head. Schmedshagen's Joschka Filippek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Hofstetter in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulli Bonin got free with Günter Zilly in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Michael Frings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Michael Frings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joschka Filippek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulli Bonin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Zlatko Kreis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drees Zagermann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Günter Zilly. Geitendorf FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Schmedshagen's Joschka Filippek got control of the ball when Michael Frings tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Markus Ruchay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joschka Filippek skillfully saved the ball. Michael Frings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joschka Filippek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Hofstetter in the 70th minute of play. Zlatko Kreis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günter Zilly having to interfere. If Ulli Bonin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Michael Frings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Ruchay shot from long distance in the 83rd minute, but Joschka Filippek was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Günter Zilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulli Bonin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 92 minutes, Kai-Uwe Bosch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geitendorf FSV and the Schmedshagen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Schmedshagen booed when Geitendorf FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai-Uwe Bosch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joschka Filippek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Hofstetter in the 96th minute of the match. Geitendorf FSV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
