Gerrit Stahlschmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Krämer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gustel Bernstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerrit Stahlschmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustel Bernstein having to make a save. Gerrit Stahlschmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Krämer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Idelberg FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domian Mundanjohl in the 24th minute of play forced Idelberg FC's goalkeeper Nico Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gerrit Stahlschmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Walter Mang fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Idelberg FC's protests and gave Walter Mang a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Idelberg FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Walter Mang hit a great ball. Kevin Krämer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Krämer was the one to do the kick off. Gustel Bernstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Mang in the 53rd minute of the match. Gerrit Stahlschmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nico Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domian Mundanjohl, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Hoya FSV's Domian Mundanjohl in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Idelberg FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Idelberg FC's Kasimir Kühnen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The attack was good, but when Jonathan Erkeling in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gustel Bernstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Krämer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustel Bernstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Krämer's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jonathan Erkeling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Idelberg FC's Walter Mang got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Walter Mang off the ground. Walter Mang hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Kasimir Kühnen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nico Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domian Mundanjohl in the 86th minute of the match. Gerrit Stahlschmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gustel Bernstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norman Apostel during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hoya FSV's Norman Apostel got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 92 played minutes Idelberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Darius Dreyer. With an all-out effort, Hoya FSV's Nico Schmidt threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Domian Mundanjohl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Idelberg FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hoya FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Hoya FSV.
