An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom-Lukas Setzer in the 7th minute of play forced Warberg's goalkeeper Justin Menge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Friedigerode FSV's Sven Burdach fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Justin Menge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Burdach's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes, Andy Michalowicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Friedigerode FSV and the Warberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Friedigerode FSV getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Andy Michalowicz hit a great ball. After 15th play minutes Hans-Werner Tschida shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sven-Philipp Eckstein and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dennis-Sven Ehrhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis-Sven Ehrhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Philipp Eckstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Friedigerode FSV's Sven Burdach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justin Menge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 26 minutes on the clock, Peter Cürten commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Warberg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Friedigerode FSV:s goal. Justin Menge had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Klaas Fein's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tom-Lukas Setzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Menge having to interfere. Hans-Werner Tschida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sven-Philipp Eckstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Burdach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tom-Lukas Setzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tom-Lukas Setzer made the kick off in the second half. Sven Burdach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rouven Hengen's late challenge caught a Warberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rouven Hengen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Warberg booed when Friedigerode FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rouven Hengen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Hans-Werner Tschida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Werner Tschida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans-Werner Tschida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Philipp Eckstein having to interfere. Justin Menge made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Sven Burdach sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Philipp Eckstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Werner Tschida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Warberg getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jens Schelm hit a great ball. Warberg's Justin Menge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom-Lukas Setzer in the 74th minute of play. Justin Menge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom-Lukas Setzer in the 76th minute of the match. Tom-Lukas Setzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Menge having to interfere. When Sven Burdach came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Friedigerode FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Burdach couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Friedigerode FSV players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Warberg.
