Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Müschenbach's Dustin Fabry started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dirk Santelmann hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Dustin Fabry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bastian Kunze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gernot Michalke during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Müschenbach's Gernot Michalke got a free kick in the 8th minute. Müschenbach's Leo Schlenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainer Diem in the 11th minute of play. Dustin Fabry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bastian Kunze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Haje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Woltera to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rainer Diem during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Haje getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rainer Diem hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Rainer Diem made a precise shot to the right of Leo Schlenz. Müschenbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dustin Fabry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Schlenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainer Diem in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Robert Meier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Müschenbach the free kick. 33 minutes into the game, one of Haje:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bastian Kunze had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Eugen Hörig's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Haje's Bastian Kunze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dustin Fabry in the 37th minute of play. Chris Flott kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Haje's zone, Dustin Fabry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastian Kunze came out of the goal and Dustin Fabry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torben Heuser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans-Georg Siebert to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rainer Diem got free with Leo Schlenz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Müschenbach's goalkeeper Leo Schlenz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rainer Diem struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Leo Schlenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haje. Rainer Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leo Schlenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Chris Flott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haje's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Flott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Schlenz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute Hans-Georg Siebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Schlenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Müschenbach got a freekick which was hit by Tim-Oliver Kirchner. A hard shot 66 in the game by Rainer Diem from a close distance when the talented Leo Schlenz managed to make a qualified save. Müschenbach's players were relieved. Rainer Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leo Schlenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Haje's goal looked a bit too open when Dustin Fabry came free, but Bastian Kunze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Fabry in the 81st minute of play forced Haje's goalkeeper Bastian Kunze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Georg Siebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hans-Georg Siebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Rainer Diem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
