Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dominic Gottwalz started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hartingen's zone, Dominic Gottwalz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pit Nachtwei came out of the goal and Dominic Gottwalz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dieter Hülsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pit Nachtwei having to interfere. Dominic Gottwalz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pit Nachtwei having to make a save. Dieter Hülsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pit Nachtwei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pit Nachtwei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Hülsmann in the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Dieter Hülsmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pit Nachtwei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominic Gottwalz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Pit Nachtwei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Effelsberg FSV. After a rather tough play, Effelsberg FSV's Jan Schubert got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Wilhelm Clopp came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Hartingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Clopp couldn't finish the play. Oliver Sturm's late challenge caught a Hartingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Sturm helped the player get up and apologised. Dorian Mohler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorian Mohler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Hülsmann in the 46th minute of play forced Hartingen's goalkeeper Pit Nachtwei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 64 played minutes Hartingen got a freekick which was hit by Carsten Schock. 73 minutes into the game, Dorian Mohler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julius Rauch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julius Rauch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Mohler in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Hartingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Heisig to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Dominic Gottwalz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrike Linden hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Pit Nachtwei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Gottwalz in the 87th minute of play. Henrike Linden's late challenge caught a Effelsberg FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrike Linden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Henrike Linden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pit Nachtwei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic Gottwalz in the 89th minute of the match. Hartingen's Pit Nachtwei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Hartingen from getting a goal against them.
